From simple to complex, organic to mechanic, solo to sextet, Tentacle Tribe’s multiple dimensions unfold in the new work Threesixnine, presented in two opuses. Emmanuelle and Elon drive their personal duet research forward by transposing and multiplying their moves onto six limber, articulate bodies that shape intricate myriapods of tenticular freshness. The inventive company continues to evolve through their signature manipulations of time, cause-and-effects and body isolations, but this time steered by the guidance of geometry, origami and the magnificence of the number 3. The second opus will be presented in an upcoming Danse Danse season.
